Hey ladies, I made this cake last night as a last minute order (got the order on Friday). I am not that pleased with it, while it is still somewhat cute.

It is an 8" and 6" stacked chocolate peanut butter cake with fondant accents. it is for a Rainforest Themed Baby Shower.

What would you charge? Thanks!

Oh please look in my pics because the picture too big for posts. Thanks.

That's a great cake! And you did this on short notice? For this much cake (23 servings by my chart), I would easily charge $70 (about $3 per serving). Don't sell yourself short! Consider these questions: would any other bakery be able to do this on such short notice? And can you get anything remotely designed to this degree at Wal-Mart or Sam't Club? No and no! Good luck!

I love the snake at the bottom!

I go by the wilton wedding chart (regardless of what the cake is for) and would figure this cake to serve 36 (24 for the 8" and 12 for the 6"), times my $4.50/fondant serving price = $162.
