approximately how many kit kats are used to do a 9 inch cake? I know I can measure the pan, and then bring a ruler when I go buy the candy, but I'm too lazy right now.

I plan to make this tonight. Any other tips you would like to share, and I would really appreciate it.

my 8" took 6 and a half packets.

I did an 8" and I used the king size kit kats. I think I used about 5-6 packets. I'm not sure.
