I'm waiting on a potential customer to call me back. On her message she is looking for "whimiscal cupcakes" for her daughter's 3 year birthday.

Please give me ideas or point me to a post to look at....I'm off to the galleries to look.

I guess I'm ignorant but I don't have small kids and my mind has drawn a complete blank on what to suggest that would be "whimsical".....all I could think of with that was "fairies in the forest....."

Thanks in advance for your help.

have a look in the whimsical gallery, there are some cakes in there that arent topsy turvey, but still whimsical. when she calls back, have your suggestions, but be sure to pin her down on what she actually wants!
id think bright colours, whirly bits of fondant, funny shapes, blobs, sparkles (sparklers!).
xx

How about cute bugs, such as bees, ladybugs, and butterflies? Whimsical could mean cute...
