I can usually bake 2 on top and 2 on bottom? Top takes a bit longer, but not by much. HTH

Some do bake on separate racks without any problems...I am not one of those fortunate souls. I place as many as I can get on one rack, leaving adequate space between each of them and between them and the oven walls...I am able to get 2-8 and 2-6 on one rack no problem...I don't do 9s, but I'm sure mine would accomodate only 3 on one rack and still have space between them...

I've baked 4 cakes at the same time on 2 different racks. They didnt all get done at the same time but they were fine. Admittedly I've never done all 9s. It may depend on your oven.
