Has anyone ever tried using buttermilk instead of sour cream in WASC cake? I have a lot of buttermilk left over from another project that I don't know what to do with? Do you think it would turn out?

I've subbed buttermilk for the water in the WASC but never subbed for the sour cream. You can sub yogurt for the sour cream.
