Curious, did research and found out that there might be 2 different guitar pans? am I correct??
The pan is a 1971 pan...looks small...?
I'd like to know how much batter, how many boxes of mix I need for this cake. Thanks so much!!!

The guitar pan I have is from Wilton (not sure of the year) but it takes one 2-layer cake mix. I'm sure mine is the older one as I found it at a yard sale several years ago. HTH!

Unless you have a mini (no more than about 7" long) it will use one cake mix. If when filling it looks way overfilled, use some batter to make a few cupcakes.
