I am in awe with these cupcakes. Is there a way or recipe to have super smooth cupcake frosting like these have?

Are you sure they are even buttercream? I just peaked at the pic I'm not sure if there is a description. But to be honest they look like they were dipped in royal icing.

I'd be willing to bet those cupcakes are fondant. They're super easy too with a biscuit cutter in the right size. I just brush on a thin layer of piping gel or a fruit glaze and smooth the fondant circles down. The little cirliques are most likely royal icing. Super easy!

It is rolled fondant. I looked at some of the other pictures she has on there of them & in the comments of one she says she used rolled fondant.
