I have been using box cake mixes for a while for making fun sheet cakes. I am now trying my hand at more 3D, sculptured cakes and am finding the box mixes are way too soft and fall apart when I try to shape it with my knife.

I would love to find a tasty recipe for a cake that can be carved easily.

Thank you!

Colleen
