ok, sorry for the crazy title to this post.

on the ace of cakes episode when they make the Hogwarts castle they used something on the fondant trees to make them textured. What is it?

this is what I remember... they spread something out on a work table, let it dry, then scraped it off and then rolled the fondant trees in it.

I don't think it was royal icing, do any of you know what I'm talking about?

I hope someone out there knows.

f I remember the episode correctly, it was RI that they created a flocking out og by scraping it with a fork or something similar, aftre it had dried...

I actually did that for grass. I just made it really thin royal icing and then spread it out. After that I just pulled it up in a pile and used my scraper and munched it up. I did get some of it too small and it looked like green powder. Sorry I don't have a picture of the grass. It is super simple though.
