I want to make a toilet bowl cake for my friends birthday next week (4/17) but the last time I made a sculpted cake that was more than a few layers deep it collapsed on me!

I think my issue was the cake recipe itself plus my lack of using supports.

If anyone has a great recipe that I can use to sculpt, but that would also support the weight of a few layers I would be greatful if you shared it!

Also, any advice on using different types of support (particularly for a cake sculpted like a toilet bowl) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

I just use WASC for carving. You could also use a pound cake or a scratch cake as they are more dense.
