Hello All,
My husbands birthday is coming up next week and I wanted to do him a Day of the dead cake. I'm having trouble figuring it out though. Has anyone ever done one or do you have any ideas on what I mat do? He is a total muertos fan so almost anything will do.

I am not a professional cake decorator, but it not my first cake either. I love looking at all the cakes in the gallery, you are all amazing!

Thanks for any help you may have.

I'd be tempted to use an actual crafted piece for both a topper and a gift... I've purchased before from

they have figurines, sugar molds, chocolate molds, etc and would be a great place to start! You could decorate a sugar skull to resemble him? It's a fun theme!

They are wonderful. Lots of ideas, instructions, and supplies, too.
