I just wanted to share how much better i have gotten in the last 9 months or so. I am so glad i found this site and just wanted to thank everyone here you all are so helpful and i could not have come this far with out all of you so thanks again icon_biggrin.gif

I think that is AWESOME!!!! But truthfully....I think they are both amazing...I hope the other 9 people that looked at your work (but didn't comment) think the same thing! icon_smile.gif

Your cake is exactly why I want to "do cakes". The perfect board, the bright cheerful colors, the obvious lack of anything close to what a chain store could make....love it!

When I looked at the first one I thought, how can you get better then this? Obviously I was wrong. The expression is captured so well on the second one. In the future when I make one of these, maybe I'll turn to you for advice if you wouldn't mind!

i love trying a cake and then doing it again in a couple months cause everytime you do a cake you learn something more i agree with everyone else the first one was great the 2nd one was excellent your really getting it down hope i can improve the same way

Both of your cakes are truly amazing. The detailing is awesome. You are very talented. Even the cake of 9 months ago looks like someone who has been doing cakes a long time did it. You are an inspiration. thumbs_up.gif

When I scrolled down to the first cake, I thought that it was the one you were sharing as the improved one (gosh, does that make sense?) Anyway, i was blown away by the second cake. Wow, you did an amazing job on both of them. The first was really great, but the second showed attention to detail that really makes it stand out. Keep up the good work.

In all honestly though, I think both cakes are pretty awesome though...I only hope to be able to achieve such a great cake!

GREAT job........they both look so cute. I wish I could only improve that much. You've got talent to see that the details make a difference, I do need to remember that & not get in a hurry & so frustrated.

AWESOME!!!

I scrolled down to see the first picture and thought, "this has to be the most recent" and was amazed when I scrolled further and saw the second pic. They're both great but the second one -- WOW! Wonderful work!
