Hot Pink Icing! Help

I am trying to make a hot pink icing color and I just cant get it! I am using a butter cream icing.. I have tried adding the wilton rose color but its a very pale pink? Any suggestions? I have read to use the rose color..maybe im not using enough?? icon_sad.gif

I don't use wilton colors, so I can't help there specifically, but if you can get your hands on some americolor deep pink, it makes an awesome hot pink.

add a ton of wilton rose... it'll be hot pink.

foxymomma is right...don't be afraid to use the Wilton Rose color. I use every time I need hot pink.....Good luck!

Wilton rose or americolor electric pink. I used the electric pink on my boombox cake... but the crappy picture does not do it justice. It was almost blinding it was so bright! icon_smile.gif

I can attest to the hot pink nature of Wilton Rose based on my HOT pink fingers right now...just finished playing with some fondant...try using more color?!? icon_smile.gif
