I need to make fondant dark royal blue..it is for a flag. Does Americolor have a proper royal? Wilton gives me a turquoisey blue ...I do have Satin Ice blue but it is not the right colour either..

thanks in advance.

I'm partial to just painting stuff for dark colors, but for a darker shade, you could try adding some black or ?...I usually just take a bit of fondant and play with different colors added to it until I get close to the shade I want.

I've had to do this before and what I did was take the blue satin ice and added americolor royal and black until I got the navy blue I needed. I'll attach a pic, although you probably don't need it this dark icon_biggrin.gif

Hope that helps!

Hi, I recently had to make this color too. I used royal blue and black. I added the black a little at a time until I reached the color I was looking for. HTH
