I'm making sugar eggs for my daughter's Preschool class. I have the Wilton Candy Mold Set. I made them a few years ago but can't find my recipe. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me the recipe that uses merengue (sorry, I'm sure I didn't spell that correctly) powder.
Thanks for your help.

After much searching I managed to find the recipe....

How to Make Sugar Eggs (Instructions from the Wilton Easter Eggs Candy Mold Set)

Sugar Mold Recipe
4 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 TBS water
2 tsp Wilton Meringue Powder
Place sugar in large mixing bowl. For extra strength, or if you live in an area that has high humidity, add 2 tsp meringue powder to the mixture. Mix the sugar so there are no lumps in it. Make a well in sugar, then add water. Rub mixture between your hands and knead for about 1 min or until well-blended and mixture packs like wet sand. Makes 1 large egg, 2 medium eggs or 3 small eggs.
To tint sugar:
Add icing color to water. Add color sparingly; lightly tinted sugar makes the prettiest decorations. Mix until color and sugar are well blended.
KEEP SUGAR MIXTURES COVERED WITH A DAMP CLOTH WHEN NOT IN USE.

It goes on to explain how to make Solid Sugar Eggs and Hollow Sugar Eggs. I'd be more than happy to type the instructions out if anyone needs them.
