Hello. I have to make a Sweet 16 Topsy Turvey Cake, they want to put 17 taper candles in it. My question is would I just stick them into the cake or do I need to find a support for them? Mind you the candles aren't being removed from the cake, they will be lit while on the cake. Also I will be covering the cakes in MMF.

Can someone help me, please.

Thank you icon_biggrin.gif

I don't think so, no extra support necessary. It's not so much a matter of weight, it's balance with those suckers. They don't weight much, but they are awkward. Stick them in far enough, and the cake and the fondant should hold them nice and straight for you!
