PLEASE HELP IM NEW TO MAKING CAKES AND SOMEONE TASTED MY CAKE AND ORDED A CAKE FROM ME BUT SHE WANTS HER HUSBAND AND HER KIDS SITTING AROUND HIM..I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED TO DO IT, AND NO LUCK I EVEN WATCHED VIDEOS AND STILL NOTHING IT DOESNT TURN OUT LIKE THE VIDEOS..SO IF ANYONE COULD PLEASE EITHER SEND ME A STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO DO IT OR IF THERE IS SOMETHING I CAN JUST GO AND BUY THEN THAT WORKS...THANKS DEDE

Hey there,

Have you tried the library or a craft store? Check out the polymer clay books for help. Your figures don't turn out? Why? Is the fondant too stiff or too soft? Are you using BC?

Perhaps you can try out some play dough and practise with that.

Are you using fondant alone? Try mixing 50/50 of gumpaste and fondant. That works really well. I think you need to see aine2's tutorials. She few online tutorials which you can buy.They are fantastic. Here is the link for her website,
