I'm going to be doing a beach-themed cake with coral-like accents and starfish and sand dollars. I need the starfish and dollars to be relatively small, about 2-3" maximum. I'm shaping the coral accents myself out of fondant/gum paste so I'm thinking the other accents would look best if I made them too. I just can't picture all the handmade coral with craft shells from the store! I don't want to make them out of chocolate because the molds are too thick -- I'm needing smaller, thinner stars and dollars. I've seen a couple of decent starfish silicone molds but I'm having trouble finding sand dollars. If any of you have done these before, can you point me in a good direction and/or give me some advice about making them? I would GREATLY appreciate it!!! icon_biggrin.gif

This link for First Impressions has some great molds for *Sea Scapes & Sea Creatures* - AND Sand Dollars.
I have ordered from them and their service and delivery from USA to Australia is very fast.

Hope this helps
