Butter Cream For Decorating

what is the best butter cream icing recipe for doing flowers in, I know that royal is better but I have someone who wants an all buttercream cake and they want flowers on it.

Dewie, you can use your BC recipe just don't add as much liquid. You want a firm stiff frosting. It's all in the consistancy, if it's too thick it will crack too thin it will droop. Play around with it an try it until it's the right consistancy. If you're recipe has a lot of butter replace some of it with shortening or what ever you use, sweetex etc.

There are two recipes on this site that are exceptional:
SugarShack's and IndyDebi's.......
A form of SugarShack's is what I used for more than 20 yrsicon_smile.gif
