Please help me...i need this...

my buttercream gets white streaks in it after i put it in the icing bag...like as if milk or butter is coming out of it...heres a picture.. icon_cry.gif

any solution...

has it happened to you

please help...

Hmmm...I don't see a picture....

What kind of coloring are you using? Just curious!!

Sorry, fchevel, but there wasn't a photo....

Are you saying that the frosting is okay until you start decorating with it (after you put it in the icing bag)? If so, the heat from your hands might be the cause. Try alternating between two icing bags (put "hot" one in the 'fridge to cool off) and switch back and forth.

If the icing separates when stored, we'll need more info. What recipe are you using. Please provide recipe name or post a link (NOT necessary to print out the recipe w/instructions if it's from this or another site online).

Also, are you tinting your frosting (and then having white streaks)? If so, what brand of color are you using, and is it paste or powder, etc.

i use wilton food colouring the pastes...yes its the white streaks
