I have been asked to make a cake just like the picture attached. I dont see having a problem making this cake but I was thinking around $300 is that too much to ask? I understand differnt areas get differnt money but whats your input.

I personally wouldn't make it for $300. That isn't just cake for 30 or 40 people. It's custom art which happens to be edible. JMHO

no,its not too much..its not enough.. if i had that order.. and felt confident to do it.. i would definitely charge more than $300.00.. please let us see your cake. when you get it done. i'm excited for you to be able to do this..

A lot of CC members won't even touch a 3D carved cake for less than $250. So considering it is a pillow cake AND a masquerade face(which btw would be an awesome cake), I think $300 is not enough, especially considering all the detail for the face! I would think more like $450, but it all depends on your demographic and your skill level,too!
