Eggplant Colored Fondant?!!!!!

Does anyone know of a supplier that carried eggplant colored fondant? I need soem to amke accents for a cake, but it is such a deep color I am afraid to mix it myself for fear it just won't be right.

Any help?

that's such a different color I doubt anyone has it ready made. It's a deep purple so if you have any purple gel paste go for it. Maybe add a touch of black to darken it. Bet you can do it icon_smile.gif

I have done it with Satin Ice Purple and Black mixed together and it works fine so if you have coloring I would just say color it purple and then add black a little bit at a time and REMEMBER that the fondant may darken as it sets so make it a tad bit lighter than you need.

The last time I purchased Satin Ice in my local cake supply store, Candyland Crafts, there were cards available from satin ice that showed how to mix colors with their product. If you contact the company you probably would be able to have one sent to you. It really is helpful.
