Hey Everyone!

I was thinking I would like to make this recipe for a chocolate cake I am making......

What could I do to make it a "crusting" frosting? Maybe add some meringue powder? Any tips?

Believe it or not, the recipe on the side of the Hershey Cocoa can works great.

But is it a crusting one? I like a bit of crust when I apply my fondant. Would adding meringue powder give it a crust??

It crusts fine for me. Add more p.sugar if you need to, but it works a-ok for me.

Meringue powder doesn't make things crust!

And, just as an alternate suggestion, look for the chocolate crusting buttercream from Serious_Cakes here on the site. It crusts nicely AND it's WONDERFUL!!!
