I have a cake order that is based on Mary Engelbreit's pottery. The man gave me a drawing of exactly what he wants (it's very detailed), even a font (seriously???)! Anyway, I've never made these type of flowers but I've seen a few cakes on CC that are also based on her work. Does anyone know if there's a tutorial around for these flowers? Any help would be great!

I just googled Mary Engelbreits coloring pages and I got this site. There were a few others. Not sure if I posted the website properly but the coloring pages help for me.

Good Luck!

Are you making using fondant or GP for the flowers? The ME designs I've seen look like you could use 5 petal cutters and do ribbon roses to make them.

I can use either gumpaste or fondant. I've never make ribbon roses (never really liked there look until I saw them on Mary Engelbreit stuff!). Know of a tutorial for these type of flowers?

Here's a link to a thread about ribbon roses that has links to some videos.
