How To Dry Fondant?

So I made some fondant leaves tonight and I need them to dry ASAP...any ideas on how to quickly dry fondant?

If you have gumpaste in the fondant, they should dry fairly quickly on their own.

If you didn't mix in gumpaste...try in the oven with the light on and no heat. Put a note to yourself not to turn the oven on!!!!

Or put the pieces in front of a fan. Just be sure to have something behind them because light pieces may try to blow away.

a food dehydrator for $30 from walmart is great for this!!!

I had some gumpaste bow loops that I need to dry, I turned my oven on low, shut if off and put them in the oven, worked great, I was worried about cracking but did not notice any icon_biggrin.gif
