Has anybody got a recipe for a good chocolate cake for Birthday and celebration cakes please, I find chocolate cakes can be very dry sometimes and I need to make a 10 inch chocolate cake for a 60th birthday. I am in the UK so need to have ingredients I can obtain here......Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can get all of the ingredients in the UK for this cake. It's DELICIOUS, so so so very moist, and very chocolaty. I don't usually spend the money on the 'best' chocolate ingredients and it turns out just as good. It makes two 10inch layers. Also, I've never made the ganache to go with it as that seemed like chocolate overkill, so I usually make a whipped frosting or a raspberry buttercream.
