Hi


I'm willing to make a cake like a gift (an open box with tissue paper too)

Here in site a thousand of pretty ones.

But I don't know how. The lid of the cake is it foam? How the lid stand open?

i agree with bashini... sharon's boxes and bows dvd is GREAT! she makes the prettiest boxes i have ever seen.. she shows 4 different ways of making box cakes.. and i think 4 different ways of making bows... i hope that you can get it.. and all her dvd's .. all of them are great....

I would make the top of the box out of rice krispy treats - that will make it much lighter and sturdier than a cake. Cover and decorate it just like you would cake.
