Ok, I've read and heard about luster dust, pearl dust and shimmer dust... The only thin I have is the Wilton Shimmer dust.. Is that luster dust, or just glitter that u can barely see? Is there a way to brighten it up? Or did I just grab the wrong stuff. I made some calla lilies, and wanted to add a little color to 'em. Thank you for any tips.
The Wilton dusts are not very good as you have found.

Pearl dust give your finished piece a shine.....sort of a pearl finish.
The colors of pearl dust are subtle.
Luster dust gives more shine than pearl dust w/much more color saturation.
Petal dust is dull color.
glitter is totally different.......completely different ingredient.
