I now can make sugar flowers and am wondering:
How do you charge for sugar flowers? Is it "per" flower usually? What is a good beginning point for adding them to a wedding cake, etc.?

ALSO~ Could someone people also tell me how they price cakes wrapped in chocolate?

Thank you icon_smile.gif

giving you a bump as I was just thinking about this yesterday!

I also would like to know for those who purchase their sugar flowers - what's the best online store to buy from?

Best place to buy the pre-mades, I think, is www.avalondeco.com. David is just delightful and I get the distinct impression he's a very small business. (like me.) I try to throw my $ at other small businesses. He doesn't put the pricing online but a quick phone call will solve that. And if you order before 3 pm your order goes out that day.

I take the price I buy them for X 4 or 5 and sell them for the cake.

But what if they are handmade by me? What's a reasonable asking price? icon_smile.gif
