Hi guys. I saw this cake a while back and I was mesmerized. However, I have no clue as to how to even do this. I am not quite sure WHAT it even is. I am guessing maybe chocolate? If anyone has ideas, I would love love love to hear them! Thanks!

A member here did one not long ago and I believe the feather are wafer paper cut out in thin strip like pointy feathers and poked into the cake.Wafer paper is edible so it works as well.

Wafer Paper. I've never heard of it. Not surprising though. I am such a newbie. Can you buy this at your local cake decotaing store?

No- probably not an art store. icon_smile.gif There is a cake supply shop near the house here. I was thinking about that when I posted that.

So, I am guessing the grocery store. Rice paper and Wafer paper are different items, correct?
