Normally my cakes are 4" tall for square or round. I was considering getting the contour cake pan set and wondered if the servings are the same.

For the round/square cakes I make two 2 inch layers and torte & stack them. But the contour cake pans I am looking at are 3" tall so I would double torte them so there are 3 layers of cake and 2 of filling - does this change my servings?

taller does not mean more servings ... it just means a bigger serving. You have the same surface area to cut. If a standard slice is 1x2x4, with the 4 being the height, the only thing you're changing is the height.
