Does anyone have any info about the website "Cakes Across America"? My DIL found the website and sent it to me. I searched CC for info and most of the topics posted were from 2006. Anyone have any new info to share? I'm thinking that you have to be a professional baker with a store front, not a home baker. Also says it costs $99/year to list with them. I would appreciate anything you have to contribute.

I did a couple of cakes for them years ago. They tend to be last-minute things, so if you want to work with them get ready to be inconvenienced.

I signed up with them last year. I was with them for 6 months and I never had anyone come to me from them... It didn't work out for me but maybe it has worked for others. I think the contracts are usually for a year so I'm thankful I was able to opt-out after 6 months...

I worked with them a few years ago and they took forever to pay me. So I stopped accepting their orders, and yes always very last minute!
