I have an a aunt who wants me to make the rose cupcakes for a sale for her rose society and she wanted to know what I would charge (then they need to sell them and how much) and then also for the fondant animal cupcakes. I cant figure on how to price those. Is there just a basic price for CC . Thank you for any help you can give me.

I posted this in the business section and then found out not to do that, sorry

Have a great day.

youve gotta price your ingrediants and materials (fuels for baking, delivering, washing up etc etc), and price your time. and on cupcakes, thats a lot of time!
depending on what kind of sale it is, your probably not going to hit the full price - if its like a regular bake sale, people arent going to be paying full prices for a fancy cupcake, when next door has regular cheapy cupcakes.
generally fondant = more expensive than bc only.

That's hard because they are going to re-sale them. It just causes a little bit of trouble. Because they want to make a profit to help their cause and you want to make a profit. And no one wants to pay sky high prices. So this really might not be in your best interest, unless your planning to do this as advertisement for your business.

I'll give you an example. Say you sell the rose cupcake for $1.00 to the society. (That's probably not such a good price for you). Then they turn around and sell it for $2.00. They are making $1.00 profit. Will people pay the $2.00 for a cupcake in a bake-sale setting. Chances are they will pay the $2.00. But are you happy being paid only $1.00 per cupcake? You could play with it. Maybe charge them $1.50, but then they only get a .50 profit.

The good news is that it's your aunt. So hopefully you can work something out and she will also have your best interests at heart. Once you figure out how much you are going to charge for the rose cupcake, I would go at least .25 to .50 cents more for each animal cupcake.

Hope this helps!
