Another decorator and myself did these last night and I was just so excited because I think they turned out so well. Neither of us had ever done cakes quite like this and I think we did pretty good for our first time

I would not even know where to start. I am not very good at carving and the other girl not real good at the fondant part so together, I think we did pretty good. As far as the carving goes, I know that both cakes are made from 1/4 sheet cakes and Mater had just a little bit more to get his height. We were really scared about covering it in the fondant but I made a VERY large sheet for each cake and we both lifted and formed after that then started the long, long, long journey to put on all the accents and then 3 1/2 hours late WE WERE DONE and I have to say that I think we were both very suprised that they came out as good as they did
