I am making a Kung Fu Panda cake and would like to add some bamboo shoots to it, I thought of using pretzel sticks and dipping them in candy melts, which I would color green, would that work? or is there an easier better way?
THANKS!

I've never made them but i would probably make them with gumpaste..just rolling out a roll, and texturing it to look like bamboo..adding a wire or lolli stick while soft so that it can be easily stuck into the cake.
