Let me start by saying im 33 years old....live in Philadelphia and have always been interested in making & decorating cakes...I've done cakes heer & theer for some family occasions ....but am very interested in maybe making some money out of it..I just went to AC MOORE and registered for the wilton courses....Does anyone have any advice for me on how to start & where to get supplies??

I think it's a great idea that you're going to take the classes - it's a perfect place to start! You should have a basic supply list that you'll need for the class. Once you've taken the class you'll be better able to decide whether or not you want to continue (who wouldn't?) and then go on to take Course II and III and all of the specialty courses. Buy your supplies as you need them and once you've gotten really hooked you can start expanding your tools and equipment as you get into it. I wouldn't recommend that you run out and start buying a ton of things until you see if this is really what you want to do, particularly since you're already talking about making $$ at it. You'll need to build a customer base and find out what the legalities are in your area and whether or not you want to take that next step. Good luck and welcome to CC!!
