I have mixed this cookie recipe like the directions said, and the dough has been in the fridge 4 1\\2 hours now, and is just as soft as it was when I first put it in there. Way too soft to roll. I'm just about ready to add more sugar and flour, to see if that will help. Or do you guys just think i'm being impatient? What to do?? icon_confused.gif

I can't imagine that the butter hasn't hardened up... did you sub out margarine or shortening perhaps? I would not add flour or sugar unless you think you didn't put enough in the first place as that will alter the chemistry of the recipe.

Use the NFSC recipe on CC. You'll love it

I would still try to use them, you may just have to roll out between parchment or something. Maybe a great new thing icon_smile.gif
