I tried to search a thread on this but didn't find any....

I was thinking today while I watched a youtube video on drying buttercream flowers(didn't turn out to well).. Can I make my flowers and freeze them like a FBCT????? That way I could make them ahead for a larger cake and then just transfer at the last min???
seems like it would work.......

I have always been told to make bc flowers ahead of time, you need at least 3 days to let them "dry". I tried it with some b/c roses, gave them 3 days to dry sitting out, and put them on the cake. They were not as hard as royal or gumpaste, but it worked ok. Hope this helps, and good luck!
