I am thinking of making a cake for my son's Wee College graduation at our church if I can come up with a really cute idea. The kids (ages 4 and 5) recite books of the Bible and verses and they wear white caps and gowns. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have thought of making a fondant cap with a tassel but nothing else comes to mind. Thanks!

Why don't you do a bible with a cake cap on top.

I did one for a business degree graduate, its in my pics. If you are interested I can tell you how I did it.

I thought of the same thing only an "open" book bible with a graduation cap on it. Choose a bible story to depict in a picture on one page and put the cap on the other.

I did my son's kindergarten graduation cake last year. It was 3 tiers and done in fondant. I piped exerpts from different children's books and accompanied each with a gumpaste character sitting on each tier. You could do the same with some biblical tales, Jonah, Noah, etc..

Just a thought icon_smile.gif
