Need Help On Green Poka Dot Wedding Cake??

Ok I'm kinda new at this post stuff. I have a request for a 3 tier wedding cake, white buttercream with green poka dots?? I'm at a loss and need some inspiration for the dots.....any help?? Thanks!

Wow. Is it a St. Patrick's themed wedding?

How about using green fondant to make the polka dots? icon_razz.gif

It sounds like a simple enough design and you've described it as pretty straight-forward. What is it about the polka dots that you need help with exactly? Are you wondering how to pipe them? Buttercream/fondant? How to space/position the dots? What size should they be? icon_confused.gif

I just Googled "green polka dot wedding cake" and found these right away. Fun examples!

Is she wanting a traditional style? What about the retro cakes that have off-set cirlces/dots cut out and places randomly? There's an attempt at one in my photos. Or maybe she's looking for small dots using the impression mats ... I think I'd ask what style she's going for.
