OK, I've searched...and I KNOW both of these have been discussed, but I swear I hate the search feature when it comes to the forums.

I just want to know which is better? I know they do the same thing, I just want to know which one does it better.

Has anyone tried both of them to do a fair comparison?

I have the one with the fins (SideSwipe) that scrape the bowl. I like it a lot and don't have to use a spatula at all when using it. I chose it over the other (a silicone coated blade) because my research showed that it causes less resistance (and wear), because it's not a constant "scrape". Only drawback - it takes a little effort to get that last bit of frosting pr cake batter off all the fins. I still use it everytime I use I my mixer.
