i am making a cake for a party tomorrow and I am frosting it with Wilton's Buttercream. I don't think I will have enough buttercream to fill the cake with and I don't feel like making more or making a diff. kind of filling. Question is would canned frosting taste good as a filling? THANKS A LOT!

Well, personally I despise canned frosting, and also in the 4 minutes between your postings, you probably could have made more of the Wilton bc recipe.

Gross....no. Sorry, but no. Make more, it doesn't take long.

I understand your problem. I hate mixing up frosting, especially after making it once. Do you have any seedless jam you could use as a filling? I have one friend who loves raspberry jam as a filling.
