HI, I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO APPLY FRESH FLOWERS TO THE TOP OF A WEDDING CAKE..DO I HAVE TO USE THE SPIKES, THEN PUT THE FLOWERS IN. OR CAN I JUST STICK THE STEMS INTO THE CAKE..

you have to use some sort of protective barrier between the stems and the cake. Using flower picks is one way - some people use food safe wrapping like tin foil or celophane. You should NOT icon_surprised.gif just put the stems into the cake. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks BJ, I thought that might not be a good idea...But never doing this i just didn't know....

You would wrap the stem, lets say with foil and insert in cake...

I do believe this product was made just for times like this, looks really cool, can't say I have any experience with it, but the website explains it well and there are a couple of threads about it. The inventor is a member here, or at least she use to be! Good Luck thumbs_up.gif Andrea
