Anyone have any ideas on how to make cat in the hat cupcakes.

I've never made Cat in the Hat anything before either, but got to looking this moring and really liked the pull-a-part cakes that treatsonthego made. http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_259033.html She said she free handed them. I tried making the cat this morning at work and it turned out pretty good. I used 3 rows of 3 cupcakes across then added one row of 4 for the hat. a row of 2, a row of 3, another row of 2 for the face and then a row of 4 for the bottom for his tie. I just iced the entire thing as smooth as I could with bc and then because I was being lazy I airbrushed the red. I used a grass tip for the fur. It was pretty quick and easy to do. If you need me to draw out where I put each cc let me know.
