I plan to make this cake by mamacc for my DS 9th birthday party in 3 weeks 3/14.

I kind of know how to stack the cake and carve it maybe/maybe not. icon_eek.gif

My DS thinks I can make just about anything and I don't want to disappoint him.

I just want to know how to cut the cake. I will be cutting the cake at the rock climbing gym.

Help me please. icon_cry.gif

Thanks

You'll have internal supports in the cake every four or five inches in height. Simply cut the cake the same way you would if it were a traditional tiered cake. Starting at the top, cut the slices down to the uppermost internal cake board (I say "uppermost" because I don't know how tall you'll be making the cake) and serve those, remove the board and supports from the "tier" underneath it, and cut and serve that.

Deanna
