Well I guess I'm the only one who can't stand his show. He's an awesome chef but the language and verbal abuse is way off the mark.
Watching him yell and scream at these young people is a real turn off.
No way is this entertaining!
Just my opinion.

But how much is "tv" and how much is real.
And they are competing for the executive chef position at an exclusive restaurant. He only expects the best and rightly so. Can you tell I'm a fan of his. LOL.

Colleen said she had to send in a video before going to audition for the show. She was very surprised she was selected. She only planned on being there one day and took enough clothes for an overnight stay for the audition and had to go buy more clothes to stay longer. I don't know how she kept her cool like she did. She's a very classy woman and it definitely showed by not loosing her temper and firing back at him.

I feel really bad that Robert isn't in it anymore. Poor guy. He was the comic relief!

I think Andrea definitley needs to go. She is just surviving by the skin of her teeth.

I am really hoping that next week Ji (she left due to her hurt ankle). I think that would really throw a wrench into the final 4~

If Andrea doesn't go next week something is very wrong! She hasn't had a good service since day one.

I think that he is going to bring back a contestant as well. I think he will bring back Ji before he brings back anyone else. I felt bad for Robert but he does need to lose some weight to be healthy. I think that Andrea should go home now! She is getting worse and worse.

Andrea was one of my favorites at the beginning. not so much now.
She should've been kicked off last night but Chef Ramsey said he was a man of his word. I was expecting him to say, "even though you won, you sucked, get out"
I feel bad for Robert. he was a decent chef and very funny.
although he probably would not have made it to the final anyway.

the best two are Danny and the other girl that is left.

I am starting not to be able to stand Ben....he talks way to much and he thinks he is a bit better then he is.

I just read an article from TV guide, that Robert is having gastric bypass surgery to help with his health issues. He has also been going to the gym & has a personal trainer helping him out. Good for him!!

On a side note, I read another article on Gordon and how the fame is hurting his restaurants, as NONE of his many restaurants are no longer in the top 100 restaurants as chosen by food critics around the world. Said article also mentioned that his 3Mstar restaurant in London, apparently has preordered food brought in at a minimal cost and the price is inflated to something like 350%. !! Also mentioned that having too many irons in the fire has been a downfall for him as well as his personal life & the rumour that he had an affair with a well known escort in London. .

I was really hoping that they were going to bring Ji back. Gotta love shameless self promotion! But on the other hand I would love to have his cookware, but it is way to expensive (almost $1000, here in Canada).
I can't believe he kept Andrea over Ben. Mind you Ben has been screwing up royally, but Andrea screwed up more than Ben on previous shows, so I guess that's why he wiped the slate clean. Ben couldn't even get a salad right, where as Andrea did pretty well on the meat station, minus her miscount.
Gordon & Danny in those pilot helmets were hilarous!!
I really like Danny! I kinda hope he wins. But next weeks looks interesting when they take over the kitchen. (Danny and his squeaky voice )

I don't think Andrea is as good as the other two chefs....but watching the preview of this week, it looks like Andrea will be able to call out orders and run the kitchen a bit better than the other two. ummmm, can't wait to see what happens.

I would have never picked these two from the beginning, but they have been consistent thru out and deserve to be there.

Surely, they won't *really* be the head chef at the Borgata. I bet it will be in title only, and the real chef will be running the show. That's what I heard they did with one of the previous winners.

The whole group this season is the bottom of the barrel, none of them were really unbelievable. I think the better chefs are on "Top Chef". But I still watch!

Danny's going to win, I predict.

I can't believe that they brought back Lacy as a team member for Paula & Danny to chose. Ya knew it was going to be like the school yard, she was gonna get pick last and then suck about it! I think that might be the nail in the coffin for Paula.
And I have to say..... I HATE DANNY'S RESTAURANT DESIGN!!! The fish on the walls are tacky!!! Paula's looks nice though.

Anxious for next weeks finale!!!

I thought last nights episode was boring compared to what I was expecting. I thought it was the finale! imagine my disappointment!!

oh well - can't wait until next week and just for the record - I CANNOT STAND LACEY!!! Wow - I feel so much better now!!!

I just saw this thread and I must say I am a Hell's Kitchen Junkie! I told my husband that on out next vacation I want to go somewhere that has one of chef Ramsey restaurant. If Paula wins and my bet is on her ( that's if Lacy gets her s#@! together) then maybe Atlantic City! All I want to do is eat at one of his restaurants. Can you imagine.....what a treat!

I love Hell's Kitchen. The yelling can be annoying but the pressure in a chichi foofoo kitchen like that can be crushing so it's kinda of like boot camp--see who can take it.

I like Danny but those fish are super tacky. Not a little tacky uber tacky. An aquarium with live fish would have been better. Paula's style is more refined I think. She's more of a chick's chef--Danny's more of a guy's chef. I mean they appeal more to the palates of their own gender.

It's interesting--Paula wanted real candles even though she couldn't have them.
Danny is satisfied with those plastic fish even though he kinda got advice to the contrary.

Were you as uncomfortable as I was when those big screens that furled down had all those flames burning all over them?? That was a little toasty huh

I totally forgot that this was the last episode (was watching hockey instead).

was it a good finale? How was Lacy? Was she the downfall for Paula?

Lacy screwed up the banana cream brulee--but I think they just showed it three different ways so they made it look a lot worse than it was but they caught that before HK opened. Giovanni on the blue side over salted the sauce for the monk fish to where it was inedible. so each side had issues.

And when HK first opened Paula's team was less cohesive but she got it together--Andrea (was that her name-she was the thrid one left) she was blowing the fish--she said she'd never made haddock before--that didn't go well but Paula talked her through it.

But Danny's team got the first ticket in and Danny yelled it all out to them and they all said YES CHEF and that was a big deal because Paula's side was quiet--no chatter.

I wanted Paula to win--but I'm really happy for Danny. Man, 23 years old--he better steel himself emotionally. He's hit the big time at such a young age he needs to get his head straight so he keeps achieving after that big year at Borgorta--y'know?

Ramsay said it was the best service they ever had in HK though.

I was bumbed that Danny won because I like Paula, but good for Danny, he deserved it too. Lacy was still a donkey!

It was good to see Lacey back....no she hasn't changed much.
I wonder if she worked as a "chef" at waffle house.

it was very close. I was a tiny bit suprised that Danny won. I thought Paula did just a little better during the entire show.
