I am making a circus cake for my son's 1st birthday, and thought I had the right idea only using a dab of black to get gray elephant colored fondant. But it looks lavender. What can I do to fix it? Or do I need to just start over with another pinch of fondant?? Here is a pic of the color I am trying to replicate:

I believe grey is one part black and one part blue (guessing primary color blue)

Any chance you have Airbrush liquid color? A drop or two of blk should help.
It is typical of black to look lav at 1st. Let it sit overnight & it should darken up just enough to not look lav.

Thanks! It still looks pretty lavender, but I will work with it, and see what I can do. Or I may just start over completely.. Thanks for your help!
