1st QUESTION:
How far in advance can I decorate a cake in fondant???
I crumb coated my RV cake last night w/ WCBC, & just an hr ago covered it in fondant.

I want to decorate it with more fondant pieces but am afraid of it cracking? icon_confused.gif

2nd QUESTION:
Should I wait to decorate the cake in more fondant?
I'm going to attempt the Coach purse cake. icon_biggrin.gif

....I will be presenting the cake to a friend on Wednesday.

i dont know the cake you mean, so cant be too specific. but once the fondant is on, i would just attatch the other bits of fondant, whenever you want really. straight away works for me, waiting i guess lets it firm up a bit more.

Thankyou! icon_smile.gif

I didn't want to come this far w/ the cake only to have it crack all of a sudden from something like some decorations.
