Fondant On Buttercream

Hello all, please how do i stick fondant accents on a buttercream cake without it sliding off. I use sugarshacks buttercream,the customer wants buttercream cake with plenty of fondant stars on the sides.Thanks in advance.

She wanted exactly like this but buttericing instead of fondant.

You shouldn't have any problem if you pipe as large an open circle of b;cream icing as possible. It will form a slight suction against the b'cream already on the cakeicon_smile.gif

Roll the fondant as thin as you can before cutting them out.

I brush the back side of the fondant piece with water when attaching fondant accents onto buttercream

I've done fondant accents on buttercream, and I just stick them right on without doing anything to them.
