My father wants a chocolate cake with fudge filling for his birthday. Due to scheduling I need to make the cake the day before and don't want to keep it in the fridge. If I use the recipe from this site which contains evaporated milk will it be ok at room temp for a day or two? My guess is yes, but I once used a pudding filling my instructor told us would be ok and it was not. Thanks for your advice!

It will be fine icon_smile.gif It is actually supposed to be at RT, b/c if it goes into the fridge, it becomes hard as a rock. I've left it out almost a week, and it's totally delicious. I'm addicted to this...it makes a perfect filling.

Thanks, I thought it would be ok, but better safe than sorry.
